World Liberty Financial (WLF), a project backed by former U.S. President Donald Trump, has initiated a snapshot vote to distribute its USD1 stablecoin to eligible $WLFI token holders. The airdrop serves dual purposes: testing the onchain distribution system and rewarding early supporters.
The proposal outlines that all wallets holding $WLFI at the time of the snapshot will receive a nominal amount of USD1. "WLF fam — it’s time," the project tweeted, framing the airdrop as both a technical milestone and a community appreciation gesture. The USD1 stablecoin is being positioned as "the hottest stablecoin in crypto" in promotional materials.
